You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

pray that she’ll come back
or you can open your eyes
and see all she’s left.
Your heart can be empty
because you can’t see her or you can be
full of the love you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow
and live yesterday, or you can be happy
for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and
only that she’s gone, or you
can cherish her memory and
let it live on. You can cry and close
your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she’d want, smile,

my rock

Since you been gone it's like an emotional rollercoaster, one minute we're laughing at all the good times we had with you and the next minute we're all crying. You were my rock when charlotte was ill and without you i don't think we would of coped, you stayed at the hospital with her so i could go home and get some rest. I knew she would be safe with you at the side of her. You never complained about the long trips to the hospitals, we will never be able to understand why you left us like you did when you know how much we need you here with us, guideing us down the right path. You were so excited about charlotte's baby but you have gone before he arrives which is heartbreaking as you'll never be there holding him. i'm certain you will shine through the new baby. Atleast you got to see chris and fay's little boy callum and you lovd them 4weeks you spent with him, doing the night feeds. Your a big part of lives, you used to tell us we'd miss you when you were gone and you were completly right as always, lots of love forever your daughter julie xxxxxxxxx

My Gran

My Gran

She is the best she puts a smile on my face,

She puts a plaster on my graze when I fall,

She is always there for me and stood tall,

She would say yes when other’s said no,

If mum says no ask Gran, as she will say yes,

Thursdays would be milky coffee days, as I would sleep there,

And in the Holidays, I would sleep there and have days out,

These were the best days,

I love and miss my Gran so much,

But now she’s gone what will I do without my beautiful Gran.

A LIGHT IS GONE

A light is from your household gone,
A voice you loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in your home,
That never can be filled.

Lonely is the home without them,
Life to us is not the same,
All the world would be like heaven,
If we could have you back again.

May the God of love and mercy,
Care for our loved one who is gone,
